Dungey Extends His Lead At Home in Spring Creek

 
 

At the Spring Creek stop of the AMA MX outdoor series, it was Michael Byrne who took the holeshot in moto one. Weimer grabbed the lead for a while, and then swapped with Alessi, but the hometown hero Ryan Dungey climbed his way up the field and took the lead 13 minutes in.

In the second moto, Dungey just did things the easy way, grabbing the holeshot and checking out. In an uncontested battle it was Dungey who took the chance to stretch his lead out to 10 moto wins for the season.

Meanwhile James Stewart was all smiles on the sideline, not taking part in the racing, while still in recovery. Apparently not caring wheter he took part in racing or not, Bubba must have written off the season and is either done for good or waiting for the Supercross season before getting back into racing competitively again.
