Alessi Brings Dungey's Winning Streak To An End

At the Washougal AMA outdoor Motocross in the US of A, Alessi grabbed his usual holeshot start in moto one. As the race progressed, Championship leader Dungey eventually managed to get into Alessi's shadow. Dungey hounded him a little too hard, leaving the track and nearly into the spectator barrier as he tried to get past. Dungey remounted and chased Alessi down again, but repeated his performace and came unstuck again in the same section. Alessi posting his first moto win for the season, bringing Dungey's 10-moto winning streak to a halt.
